Seascape
A part of my Gold Series this piece bridges my love for colour and my study of a neutral palette. It finds harmony between colour and a more subdued palette just as it is designed to provide peace to the viewer through quite texturised and the appearance of movement. It also connects traditional application of paint with the incorporation of non-traditional materials such as gauze and gold.
My abstract creations delve into the complexities of psychology, inviting viewers to explore and interpret the pieces through the lens of their own experiences. The manipulation of perception and interpretation is a central theme in my art, prompting a deeper reflection on how individual experiences shape the understanding and appreciation of the work.
Materials: Real flowers, wine, acrylic paint and varnish on canvas. Unframed measurements 100 × 100cm
